    Candy Cow and the Caterpillar is a short story for young children. It is part of a series called 'Alphabet Animals of Australia'. Candy is a lovely cow, who is out in the paddock when she nearly eats a caterpillar. The caterpillar tells her about camouflage and later Candy learns that caterpillars change. It is an ideal book to read to your loved ones at knee, but as the child grows, the vocabulary is useful for learning and when the ability to read has developed, the child will find the story challenging enough to try and read themselves. At the back of the book there is a list of projects which would be useful for teachers.
